Hawaii is home to some of the worlds best surfing! Even just on the Island of Maui we have the infamous break known by the ancient Hawaiian’s as Pe’ahi and by others as Jaws. The waves here can reach more than 60 feet. Kai Lenny, a professional surfer, often shows his skill sometimes air dropping nearly 20 feet into the mouth of this beast.
On West Maui during the right swell one of the most impressive barreling waves comes to life in the secluded and scenic amphitheater of Honolua Bay.

As the owner and an instructor of this company I personally guarantee you will come away with a greater knowledge and appreciation for surfing no matter what skill level you start off at.
We also strive to maintain a solid relationship with the ocean and the local Hawaiian culture. We use reef safe sunblock and surf wax to insure the reef stays healthy and the waves keep coming! We often share waves with many locals and will respect their position in the lineup.

Q: Do I need my own surfboard?
A: Arrangements can be made for a surfboard or you can bring your own. Just be sure to specify.
Q: What do I wear?
A: It is best to wear a normal bathing suit and a rash guard with long sleeves to protect from the board and the sun.
Q: Do I need sunblock?
A: Yes. Please be sure to use sunblock without oxybenzone or avobenzone because they have been found to damage the reef ecosystem.
Q: How warm is the water?
A: The water can range from 72 F to 80 F depending on the season.
